Two Brands, One Missive Workspace

Atlas Coast Travel Group (atlascoasttravel.com) and MNC&C (ProfMelissa) share the same Missive workspace. Some team members have access to both brand inboxes. All outbound replies from Missive — regardless of which team member sends — go from [email protected] with that person's individual signature.

Personal Aliases

Every team member has a [email protected] alias. Email to a personal alias routes directly to that person in Missive. Replies go from [email protected] with the individual's signature. Aliases are used individually, not as group lists.

Not a Real Address

[email protected] does not exist and is not publicized. Do not create or reference it in any documentation or agent communications. Use [email protected] for all agent-facing contact.

Core Missive Rules
Close — Use When the Thread Is Genuinely Done for the Whole Team
Closing is team-wide. When you close a thread it disappears from everyone's Open view. Only close when the issue is fully resolved for all parties. If a colleague is still working it, leave it open or assign it to them.
Archive — Use Sparingly
Archive removes a thread from your personal view without closing it team-wide. If it is truly done, Close it. If it belongs to someone else, Assign it. Archive is rarely the right choice.
Delete — Never
Delete is permanent and removes the conversation from Missive entirely for the whole team. There is no legitimate business reason to delete email threads. Do not delete.
Assign — Use Whenever Someone Else Should Own the Thread
Assign the thread to the right person and leave an internal comment with context. You can assign to more than one person. Unassigned threads at hello@ that do not match an auto-assignment rule land in the shared inbox for triage.

Internal Comments — Use Freely
Leave internal notes on any thread. Only visible to the team — never to the external sender. Use @mentions to notify a specific colleague. Always leave a comment when assigning a thread so the recipient has context.
The Golden Rule

If you handled it: Close it. If someone else should handle it: Assign it and leave an internal comment. If you need to find it later: Label it before closing. Never delete.

Form Routing Table

All forms route through [email protected] and land in Missive. Auto-assignment rules handle predictable submissions.

Alias Management
Only Melissa Adds New Email Aliases

Adding an alias requires two steps or it will not work: (1) Google Workspace admin at admin.google.com — makes the address exist and receive email. (2) Missive — adds the alias as a connected inbox so emails appear for the team. If only step 1 is done, emails arrive at the address but are invisible in Missive.

DNS Note

DNS for atlascoasttravel.com is managed in Kajabi settings — not in Hostinger and not directly in Cloudflare. Do not touch DNS in Hostinger for this domain.

Email Signatures

All staff use the Atlas Coast HTML signature in Missive. Setup path: Preferences > Accounts > [email protected] > Signature > switch to HTML mode > paste signature HTML > update your name and title > save.
