Atlas Partner & Coach Terms and Expectations
Read this in full before accepting your role. Submitting the acceptance form means you agree to everything on this page.
Both programs are invitation-only and carry real expectations. This page exists so there are no surprises. If anything here does not work for you, now is the time to say so โ before you accept.
Role OneAgent Success Coach
What you do. Coaches host weekly Office Hours sessions open to all Atlas agents and conduct milestone-gated 1:1 calls with agents who are preparing their first quote or first booking. This is a paid per-session contractor role. You work, you get paid.
Pay structure.
- $25 per Office Hours session hosted
- $15 per completed 1:1 milestone call
- $10 when an agent no-shows a scheduled 1:1 โ you blocked the time, so you are compensated for it
Payments are issued via Gusto and are separate from your Dots agent commission payouts. You do not invoice us. You submit the session log form after every session and our team calculates pay from those records.
Eligibility and expectations.
- You must be an active Atlas Coast agent in good standing at all times
- You must have at least six months of travel industry experience
- You must have completed Atlas Academy in full prior to acceptance
- You must commit to ongoing training and continuous learning, including future Atlas Coast training programs and relevant supplier certifications as they become available
- You must be comfortable on camera in a live group setting
- You must have reliable weekly availability for recurring sessions โ this is not a fill-in-when-convenient role
- You must respond to agent questions and concerns with accuracy, professionalism, and care
- Your agent subscription is not waived as part of this role
Role Two
Booking Partner
What you get. Booking Partners receive warm client leads directly from Melissa โ real people who have reached out through her content, platforms, or network, or through the Atlas Coast website, and are ready to book travel. This is not a cold leads list. These clients come to you pre-warmed and looking for an agent.
Commission split. Booking Partners operate on an 80/20 split. You keep 80% of every referred booking. This differs from the standard 90/10 agent split and reflects the value of the leads being delivered directly to you. Payouts come through Dots on the 1st and 15th of each month.
CLIA benefit. As an active Booking Partner in good standing, Atlas Coast covers your individual CLIA membership fee, reimbursed upon receipt submission through the Hub.
Eligibility and expectations.
- You must be an active Atlas Coast agent in good standing at all times
- You must have a minimum of five completed bookings and at least two supplier certifications
- You must have completed Atlas Academy in full prior to acceptance
- You must commit to ongoing training and continuous learning, including future Atlas Coast training programs and relevant supplier certifications as they become available
- Every lead must receive a response within 24 hours of delivery โ no exceptions
- Leads that go unanswered are reassigned. Repeated misses result in removal from the program
- You must represent yourself and Atlas Coast with professionalism in every client interaction
- Your agent subscription is not waived as part of this role
Standards
Ethics & Professional Conduct
Both roles carry a higher standard of conduct than standard Atlas membership because coaches and partners represent Atlas Coast directly to agents and clients. The following apply to everyone in either program.
- Honest representation. You must represent your experience, credentials, and capabilities accurately to clients and agents at all times. Misrepresentation of any kind is grounds for immediate removal.
- Client-first conduct. Every client interaction must prioritize the client's best interests. Using a lead to benefit yourself at the expense of the client is a violation of this program.
- Continuous learning. Coaches and partners are expected to model the professional standard they represent. That means staying current โ completing Atlas training programs as they are released, pursuing relevant supplier certifications, and never treating your education as finished.
- No disparagement. You may not publicly or privately disparage Atlas Coast, its leadership, its agents, or other coaches or partners. Disagreements go through proper channels โ not social media or community spaces.
- Confidentiality. Any information you access about agents, clients, or Atlas Coast operations through your role must be kept strictly confidential.
- Compliance with industry standards. You must comply with all applicable travel industry regulations, Atlas Coast policies, and the terms of your Independent Travel Agent Agreement at all times.
- Professional availability. Coaches must maintain the recurring availability they committed to. Booking Partners must maintain their 24-hour lead response standard. Consistently failing either standard reflects on Atlas Coast and will not be tolerated.
Important
Removal Policy
Participation in either program is a privilege, not a guaranteed right. Removal may occur for any of the following reasons, among others.
- Falling out of good standing as an Atlas Coast agent
- Failing to meet the performance or availability expectations of your role
- Failure to complete required Atlas training programs or maintain ongoing professional development
- Violation of the ethics and professional conduct standards above
- Conduct that reflects poorly on Atlas Coast or its community
- Any breach of your Independent Travel Agent Agreement
Atlas Coast reserves the right to remove any coach or booking partner from their role at any time, for any reason, with or without cause, and without prior notice. Removal from a program does not affect your standard Atlas Coast membership unless a separate membership violation also exists.
